Planting starts at noon.  We will be planting @ 250 vines.  Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syarh, Viognier and Zinfandel.

The Site has been totally prepared and planting should go very fast.  I'll have snacks, water and samples of the types of wines we'll be planting for everyone to try.  

Bring:

Gloves
Shovel (optional I'll have extra if you don't have one)
Shoes you can get  muddy (the soil is clay and gravel)
Hat
Sunscreen is a good idea.

I'll provide instructions for everyone and Steve Carson ( Winemaker from Vino Con Brio in Lodi) and I will be available to answer questions.  It's very much like planting roses.  We should finish up by 3PM at the latest and then head off to a BBQ and winetasting of Santa Cruz Mountain wines at our place at 5 PM.
