Directions to the Winchell Vineyard.

This is a bit hard to find, so please call if you think you are lost.  408-242-8598.

Parking is limited on the site to 6-8 cars, so if you can please park at the Alpine Inn at the corner of Alpine and Arastradero Rd and call 408-242-8598.  We'll have a shuttle to bring people up the hill to the vineyard.  If you want to park at the vineyards, check the bottom directions.

Directions to the Alpine Inn

From San Jose (South).

280 North.  Take the Alpine Road exit.  Go left towards the mountains.  The Alpine Inn is at the corner of Arastradero and Alpine @ 3 miles from the freeway on the left side of the road.

From San Francisco (North)

280 South.  Take the Alpine Road exit.  Go right towards the mountains.  The Alpine Inn is at the corner of Arastradero and Alpine @ 3 miles from the freeway on the left side of the road.

Directions to the Vineyard.

From San Jose (South).

280 North.  Take the Alpine Road exit.  Go left towards the mountains.  Turn left at Arastradero @ 3 miles from the freeway.  Go up Arastradero about 500 yards.  The first vineyard you see on the right is NOT our vineyard, keep going.  Look for a number 14 on a tree on the right.  Turn up that private road and turn into the driveway marked "Winchell" and go up to the grass knoll and park there.  The house is a bit hard to find, look for the vine trellis on the right.  It's easy to pass the entrance.  If you reach the Open Space park, you've gone too far.

From San Francisco (North)
